The twelve butterflies are the leftovers from my previous butterfly canvas artwork! Instead of keeping the canvas plain white, I decided to practice the Gelato Drip Technique! Hmm, it worked out quite well!
I thought I could enter this project to Simon Says Stamp’s Current Challenge-Paste. I used stencils to make these 12 butterflies, and some of them used Embossing Paste and Gesso. They definitely all look textured! The following are some close-ups of them!
I think now I am addicted to not only stencil art but also Gelato!
I have been addicted to Stenciling Art since last year and have been unable to stop!
I have recently utilized twelve stenciling techniques and come up with this butterfly canvas artwork! Oh, I really love it!
I also managed to make twelve tags which correspond to the twelve butterflies so that I will not forget how I made each butterfly!
4.復古印台與水(Finger Flicking Technique) (復古印台之運用)
5.復古印台與水(Water Stenciling Technique) (復古印台之運用)
I made this card for the following challenges but by the time I finished the first two challenges were closed! Ha!
1. Freshly Made Sketches #121
2. Color Thowndown ctd #277
3. Hero Arts Birthday Challenge - Anything goes birthday cards
1. The stamp is by Hero Arts and the butterfly stencil is by Heidi Swapp Prima Marketing.
2. The butterflies were colored by tracing and doodling within the stencil using markers! How fun and easy!
This card was inspired by Kristina Werner in Day 2 of the Stenciled class. For me, it is a twist of Emboss Resist! How easy and fun!
I will also enter this card to Hero Arts' new challenge – Birthday Challenge (the category of Rainbow of color birthday cards or party decor) and Simon Says Stamp’s ANYTHING GOES WITH TWINE OR STRING Challenge!
The stencil is by Stampers Anonymous, Tim Holtz Collection and the text stamp is by Hero Arts.
I am still catching up with the homework of the Stenciled class. I realize there is no way to finish and practice all the techniques covered, as the class will finish tomorrow. I therefore combined three techniques in one card!
The first butterfly used Embossing Powder over Embossing Paste. The second butterfly applied Double Stenciling technique. The third butterfly applied Translucent Paste over Distress Inks. The subtle misting background was done using Marker Spritzer which is an extremely old toy!
2.印章和文字刀模出自Simon Says Stamp。
We are having the Chinese Lunar New Year Holidays which is the most important holiday in pan-Chinese world, like Christmas in western world! So I have been extremely busy and hence quite far behind in terms of catching up the Stenciled class!
Here comes my second take – Stencil over Stencil with Ink Blending! I must say it is another easy and no-failure technique! Again I kind of like what I came up with! Ha!
1.The stencil is by The Crafters’ Workshop and the stamp is by Hero Arts.
2.Techniques applied are Masking, Shift Stenciling and Faux Stitches.
